FSD-X Nexus 2.0 — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FSD-X Nexus 2.0 (the "Extension") handles user data. By using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What Data We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data:

• License key — your Pro license key, stored locally in your browser to authenticate your account
• Trade journal entries — trade data you manually log including dates, tickers, P&L, strategy, and notes
• Usage counts — daily scan counts for features such as News, Chart, and Flow to enforce rate limits
• Watchlist tickers — ticker symbols you add to your watchlist
• Cached results — recent analysis results stored temporarily to improve performance
• Preferences — settings such as font size

We do not collect names, email addresses, financial account information, payment details, health data, location data, web browsing history, or any personally identifiable information beyond your license key.

2. How We Use Your Data

Data collected by the Extension is used solely to provide the Extension's features:

• Your license key is sent to our validation server to verify your Pro subscription
• Trade journal entries are stored in our secure cloud database associated with your license key so you can access them across sessions
• Usage counts are tracked server-side to enforce daily rate limits per feature
• Chart images you upload are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis and are not stored after the response is returned
• News ticker queries are sent to Finnhub to retrieve recent headlines

3. Data Storage

Data is stored in two places:

• Locally — your browser's chrome.storage.local for preferences, cached results, and usage counts
• Cloud — your trade journal entries and rate limit counters are stored in a secure Redis database (Upstash) accessible only by your license key

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension communicates with the following third-party services:

• fsdx-validator.vercel.app — our backend API for license validation, AI analysis, news fetching, and trade journal storage
• Anthropic (claude.ai) — AI provider used for chart analysis, news sentiment, and flow reading
• Finnhub — financial data provider used to fetch news headlines
• Upstash — Redis cloud database used for trade journal and rate limit storage

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

Trade journal entries are retained until you delete them. Rate limit counters reset daily at midnight UTC. Cached analysis results are stored temporarily in your browser and cleared when you reset or uninstall the Extension.

6. Your Rights

You may delete your trade journal data at any time from within the Extension. You may also clear all locally stored data by removing the Extension from Chrome. To request deletion of your server-side data, contact us directly.

7. Security

All data transmitted between the Extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Your license key is stored locally and transmitted only for validation purposes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
